This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Another bulk update containing the collective works of 2011 so far. I don't know what it is about having your own website, but it makes me completely forget to update other sites like this one. But over there I've developed a tendancy to plan site updates that never happen, so that doesn't get updated either. I think there's some sort of balance to be found here, but I haven't got the hang of it yet.

Hello! I found the picture of your halloween wings and was really interested in looking at the tutorial, but the link seems to be dead. D: Do you have a working link? They're so pretty!
The pictures are missing from the text one, but the video she did is of the same pair of wings so you can kind of piece the two together
(I didn't write this tutorial so Emilie Autumn gets all the credit for sharing how to make these awesome wings with the world. Just realised that wasn't clear from my deviation description, oops!)
Umm... Hi... I don't really know you and you don't know me, but I was hoping that I can ask you a few questions. I see that you have made some fairy wings and I wanted to ask what would you recommend to use, fabric or stockings? You see I wanted to make something similar to the vocaloid's magnet song headphones with wings and was planning to use stockings and spray paint, but i read that you found it easier to use normal fabric so I wanted to make sure. The wings should be less than 20cm.
Hiya, no worries I'm no expert but I'm happy to help
The good thing about stockings is that they're cheap, so there's nothing to stop you giving it a try once you've built the frames to see if stretching them over the frame works
For the vocaloid set I think the top wing would be fine, but the long swallowtail point on the bottom wing might give you some trouble, it might not be wide enough to stretch a pair of stockings out.
Also, consider how the stockings are going to fit over your frame, you need to tie a knot to close them at the end. If you make the wing in 2 pieces (upper and lower) these knots will hide behind the headphone which is perfect. However if you're making the whole wing out of a single piece of wire the closing point might end up in a visible place. Which isn't the end of the world (I have a set like this) but it's something to consider.
